RYAN DECKER (b. 1997) was raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Decker is a sculptor who creates animations, furniture, and paintings using digital tools. His work describes the tension between the digital and the physical experiences of everyday life, focusing on blurring real and virtual experiences as a composite feature of contemporary life. Decker was the 2023 Technology Resident at Pioneer Works. In May 2022, he had a solo show at Superhouse Gallery in Manhattan, New York. He has additionally exhibited with Alcova (Miami, Milan), New Image Art (LA), Mery Gates (NY), SPRING/BREAK (NY), Emma Scully Gallery (NY), Good Naked (NY), and Jonald Dudd (NY). Decker lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
